FAQ

Does my dog need an assessment?

We have a meet and greet with every dog. This allows pet parents to tour the facility and for us to get a better sense of who your dog is. We like to get a closer look at temperament and socialization style to ensure Besties is the best fit for your pup.

How do I sign up for daycare and boarding?

Create a free profile on our client portal via the Gingr app. You can secure your spot right through the app. Please try to give us 24 hours notice when booking, but it is not mandatory. After all, we know things come up all the time so we will always do our best to accommodate you and your dog. You are always welcome to contact us at info@bestiesdogcare.ca or at 647-668-4613.

What vaccinations does my dog need?

To ensure a safe environment, all dogs will be required to be up-to-date on Rabies and Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccinations. We highly recommend you consider flea prevention medication as well.

Does my dog need to be spayed or neutered?

Yes, medium sized dogs over 12 months must be spayed or neutered. Smaller dogs must be altered by 8 months. Puppies under these age thresholds are welcome intact. All dogs will be assessed prior to group introduction to ensure they have a temperament conducive to a daycare environment.

What happens if I am late for pick up?

We understand that things happen! Please give us a call to let us know that you will be late and when we can expect you. However, we will have to charge $5 for every 15 minutes past 7 pm you arrive.

What are your hours?

Currently, we are open 7 days a week for boarding. For dog daycare, we are open Monday to Friday from 7 am to 7 pm, and on Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. We are planning to be open 7 days a week and will let clients know as soon as that changes.
